Hi I’m Darren, I grew up in Australia and have recently moved to the Lower Mainland area. I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember; it really stems from my parents who carried a camera around with them everywhere we used to go. I, being the adventurous little spirit at the time, would always borrow the camera from my parents and be told “don’t forget to put the strap around your neck” but I was nearly always out of sight by the time they finished saying it. These days that comment always goes through my head when I pick up my camera and makes me chuckle.

Through the years I have grown and developed my photography into more of a candid style as I believe that the beauty of real life makes for the best images.
